I was born in Northwestern Georgia in a small rural community to a set of really wonderful parents. I also had to share the limelight with 3 other siblings all of whom lacked a "Y" chromosome. I lived there for my first 17 years attending Chattooga High School before moving down to Atlanta to pursue my college degree.
When I got to Georgia Tech I pledged a fraternitie, made too many friends and drank myself into a low GPA. All the while I walked onto the football team and became a third string tackling dummy. They said it was Inside Line Backer, but we all know third stringers are just there for the fodder.
I moved to Marietta for a while to regroup and make some money and made more friends who persuaded me to move out to Texas, so I headed out to San Antonio for a while. I really liked it there and made up my mind to head back to school to finish my degree. I also decided to pay for it by joining the Air National Guard.
So off to Louisville, Kentucky I went and joined the KYANG and went to college at the University of Louisville (Go Cards!!). Got married and had a beautiful little girl named Katharine Grace. The marriage didn't last but I enjoyed my time there (and everywhere else Uncle Sam sent me). Off to Germany, Puerto Rico, Newfoundland, Macedonia then a little place called Topeka Kansas (forever known as Topekastan) where I ended up meeting my current wife (Hi Kimbre!).
Then we had a little boy named Connor Gannon right before I headed out to Tabuk,Saudi Arabia for 6 weeks. Then on to the United Arab Emirates for a few more months to bask in the 146 degree sun. Then I spent a few more days at the Al Udeid Air Base before heading home.
I got back to see my son already at 9 months old, but he still remembered me :). Then I finally got my Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisville and decided to get a job in the IT field.
Being that my wife was from Kansas and I was from Georgia, living in Kentucky was kind of odd. So we headed out to pursue careers in Kansas City, Kansas where we currently live. We ended up having another little baby boy this year (2007) named Rowen Cuinn and he is wonderful. Gannon really loves being a big brother (now 4 years old and weighing in at 65 pounds and 4 feet tall).
So now I have a nice little family of 4 and a half(being that my daughter lives with her mother), working in IT and living in Kansas.
Welcome to my little world of crazy.
